Morana's story begins there in Korea and soon gains this beautiful mix that you see materialized in stores all over Brazil.

In 1972, our CEO and founder Jae Ho Lee and his family arrived from South Korea in São Paulo and started here what would kick-start Morana.

Shortly after moving, the Lee family founded 2 jewelry stores in the capital of São Paulo and, thus, gained intimacy with the world of fashion and women's accessories.

It was in 1987 that Jae, then graduated in Business Administration, got to know the franchising system – still scarce in Brazil – on a trip to the United States and then, the retail expertise joins the knowledge in franchising and an idea begins to take shape. .

After an in-depth study of the market, Jae created, in 1992, Jin Jin Chinese Fast Food – currently Jin Jin Wok Asian Gastronomy – his first franchise, and after ten years of experience in the field, in 2002, Morana was born, a pioneer in the market. of fine jewelry and currently the largest chain of women's accessories in Brazil and Latin America.

The brand consolidates, gaining national and international visibility, becoming a reference in fashion and accessories and, together with Jin Jin, becomes part of the Ornatus Group, which later also gains the accessories brands Balonè and Love Brands, and the Agiset graphic.

 

With exclusive pieces that meet the demands of the modern woman, Morana is today one of the largest jewelry and accessories chains in Brazil. There are more than 300 operations in malls and commercial streets in Brazil and the United States. Eclectic and faithful, the audience is made up of women of all age groups.

Morana revolutionized the jewelry retail concept by launching pieces with a jewel-like appearance and with high quality for consumers who do not give up the classic beauty and impeccable finish. Every week, news arrives at the stores, created by a great team of designers and suppliers chosen with great care. All this is possible thanks to the research carried out by the company, in Brazil and abroad, and the support of fashion consultancies.

Morana is a franchise network for expansion in large capitals or cities in the interior of Brazil with high growth potential and a population between 70,000 and 200,000 inhabitants.

Why Morana?

The brand was named in honor of Jae's wife, Morana Cho Lee, Moran is a name originating in Korea, which comes from Moran, the flower we know as Peony.

In Brazil it won the suffix A and became Morana, in addition to being a super original name, highlighting the brand, Morana's numerology brings infinity and money in the sum of its letters.
